GOOD MORNING!

Good morning everyone!

Man! last night was rough!

Was it a full moon or what? It was hard to put the girls to bed, hard to make them sleep and even harder to get through the night. I couldn't figure out what was wrong.

Just got my coffee shot and hopefully it will get me through the day.
I feel like this since i woke up:

Have a nice day!

gardening

Last week we did a bit of gardening. Nothing too scrumptious. But i have to say that this year my veggie garden looks better and we also made a spiral of aromatic plants close to the house this way is easy access. When we have a bit of breeze the scent of fresh mint and of fresh basil is carried in the house and you find yourself enveloped in this multitude of mixed aromas and all you want is to relax and enjoy, sometimes next to a glass of mojito, virgin one for those who don't consume alcohol.
Armed with shovels, and compost, and plants and tools and ready to go crazy. We lost our little helpers on the way to the veggie squares, too busy to play and jump around.

A while ago i saw this idea of aromatic plants spiral on a diy website, you can find it here  . I found it so cool that i told my hubby that we have to do it too. Its not the same as on the website.
We added the cardboard at the bottom. We used wood to create the spiral. We added compost inside the spiral.
We planted: lemongrass, chamomile, thyme, lemon thyme, pansies, oregano, basil, mint, flowers - to bring it a bit of colour
there it is:

planted a yucca as well :)
Nice weather is back and i was able to take some lovely pictures of my veggie garden. Happy to share them with you.
As we are like rabbits, we love to eat fresh greens such as lettuce and salad, tomatoes and courgette we added them all to our veggie square. We all know that fresh veggies are good for our health and the more the merrier.
So happy to see that all of them are growing and soon we will start enjoying the results of our labour. yummy
I know two little girls who will munch on the cherry tomatoes, picking them right from the plant as soon as they are ready to be eaten.

Happy gardening!

wedding celebration

last weekend we went to my husband's aunt wedding celebration. I love her dearly. she is such a lovely person.
I had no ideea what i was gonna wear. It had to be something stylish and comfortable. We had no babysitter so we took the kids with us, therefore i neded something comfortable to be able to run after them. Even after looking through the shops I couldnt find anything satisfying. I dont know if its just me but lately shopping in the stores gives me headaches, i have no patience to look for clothes and i prefer to do it online. Hopefully this is not something permenantly. I love shopping so this would be very sad for me.
Note to myself: I have to remember to give my aunt the pictures next time i see her.

Best eyebrow tips

I've always had a weird relationship with my eyebrows. Before I first started plucking them properly, which happened around the first year of University, i had kinda bushy eyebrows. I absolutely hated them for being half bushy and half thin and i longed to have them nicely trimmed like my friends had. I felt like it overwhelmed my entire face, like two big caterpillars that had taken up residence on my forehead. But as i was not allowed to pluck or change anything at my face before my 18th year i had to live with them in that state. In the first year at University, I felt liberated of all the restrictions so i started experimenting with my eyebrows. I had them short, and thin and back to bushy and just to go back to thin again. I felt like I've finally hit the jackpot when i learned how to properly groom them - they frame my face and now I'm  proudly showing them.  Here are the steps I follow:

Step 1: Tweeze if necessary. I don't wax my eyebrows anymore. I tweeze every 3-4 days any stray or new grown hairs so that they stay neat and groomed.

Step 2: Trim. I would monthly trim my eyebrows by brushing them up with an eyebrow brush and cut the ones that extend beyond the natural shape.

Step 3: Apply primer. When i do my eye makeup i use an eye primer. I apply the eye primer on the upper eyelid, crease and eyebrow too. This will set the makeup and last through the entire day.

Step 4: Define. Using an angled brush and with a bit of pressure i draw the underside of the brow.

Step 5: Define the end of the brow. As the end of my brows are rather thin i need to define the arch of the brow and give more volume to the end of the brow in order to have a complete and natural shape. Using the same angled brush I accentuate the arch and the end of the brow and with small strokes i fill in between the hair and the lines to create a natural end of brow.

.
Step 6. Fill. With short strokes i fill in my brows, starting with the beginning of the brow and slowly working till the end of the brow

Étape 6. Remplissez.

Step 6. Blend. Remove the brow powder off the brush with a clean cloth and blend.
Tip* If you have an old mascara DON'T throw it away, you can use the brush as an brow brush, after being cleaned and dried. A clean tooth brush can also be used as brow brush.
Using the bristle brush comb the eyebrows a few times to soften the look so it's not dramatic.

Step 7. You can apply brow gel if you have. examples here
I tried some but I don't own one because i dont find it necessary, at least for the moment.
Tip* You can spray a bit of hairspray on the bristle brush and then just brush your brows.
This will give a sleek look to your brows.

Step 8: Highlight. Using a concealer brush I apply concealer or highlighting cream directly under the eyebrow (on top of the brow bone) to brighten my eyes and on top of the arch and the end of brow to define the brows even more.

my love for tea tree oil

The amazing Tea Tree oil or Maleluca Alternifolia. Maybe you guys know everything about its benefits and you don't need me to tell you about it or you just discovering it know. Either way when you buy a Tea Tree oil make sure you get the one Maleluca Alternifolia because its the safe one and the best for body usage.
This essential oil is good for everything weather is beauty usage or household usage.

I've discovered this essential oil during my first pregnancy and I've been using it ever since.
The oil can be used as it is or diluted with water or with other oils (called carrier oils) such as coconut, almond or olive oil.
Pregnancy doesn't always brings the "glow" for everybody, at least for me it didn't, instead i had bad rash and mild acne so i had to find something natural to help me with my skin problems as everything else didn't work.I did a bit of research and found my miracle in a little bottle called Tea Tree oil.

The following are just a few of my uses of the Tea Tree oil.
I used it for my mild Acne: Add a drop to your normal cleansing routine or dab a very small amount on acne breakouts. You can also add 20 – 40 drops of the oil to your regular face wash. If you have just a couple of spots or you just wanna have a nice healthy looking skin i would suggest to add a drop of oil to your face moisturiser before putting it on the face.
For Bladder Infection: In a shallow bath, add 15-20 drops of oil. Sit and wash area carefully.
Rashes: Mix with coconut oil and massage over the affected areas.
Dandruff: Add 20 – 30 drops oil to any shampoo. Apply a few drops to scalp and massage after washing.
Insect Repellent: Add 15 drops to a quart of water and use as an effective insect repellent.
Mosquito Bites: Using your finger tips apply a drop of oil directly to bites.
Tonsillitis: Inhale from steaming water with tea tree, gargle, and massage into neck and soles of feet.
Wounds: Soak wounded area in water with tea tree oil, or spritz from a bottle of water with several drops of oil. Depending on the wound and your own sensitivity you may be able to apply directly.
Household Cleaning solution: Can be used aromatically or added to homemade cleaner to kill germs and prevent the spread of colds and flu. You can make a tea tree cleaner by combining 2 teaspoons of tea tree oil with 2 cups of water in a spray bottle. This is especially good in the bathroom and in toilets, it can also be used to kill mold.
Athletes Foot: Clean feet thoroughly, especially between toes. Add oil directly to feet every two weeks, dusting with corn starch after. Or add 10 drops oil to 1 tbsp of grapeseed or other carrier oil and massage on feet and between toes daily.
Baby Care: Keep your diaper pail clean and fresh with a spray of tea tree oil mixed with water.
Bacterial Infections: Use topically, either massaging into the reflex points of the feet, adding several drops to a bath or cautiously applying over an infected site.
Bronchitis: Add 1-2 drops to a pan of hot water and breath in the steam, or massage the oil over the chest.
Bruises: After icing, apply oil as directed for Arthritis.
Bunions: Massage area with 5 drops oil to 1 tbsp. of carrier oil.
Burns: Run icy cold water on area. After a few minutes, add a mix of 5 drops oil with 1 tsp. raw honey. Repeat 3 – 5 times daily.
Chapped Lips: Add 1 or 2 drops of oil to lip balm. Apply to lips as necessary.
Cold Sores: Apply a drop or two of oil directly to the sore with a cotton swab. Re-apply 2 – 3 times daily.
Coughs: Use as directed for bronchial infections. For a vaporizer, add 10 drops to steamer and leave on 5 – 10 minutes.
Dandruff: Add 20 – 30 drops oil to any shampoo. Apply a few drops to scalp and massage after washing.
Earache and Infection: Add 2 – 3 drops of oil to 2 tbsp warm olive oil. With a dropper, drop a small amount into aching ear, tilting head to one side for a moment. Use cotton swab to absorb oil. Repeat 2 – 3 times daily.
Flea Bites: Apply a drop of oil directly to bites.
Head Lice: Add 20 drops of oil to 2 tbsp shampoo. Massage into scalp and hair, leave on for 10 minutes. Rinse. Repeat 3 – 4 times daily, until eggs are gone.
Ingrown Hairs: Add 1 – 2 drops of oil directly to area. Repeat every 2 hours or until signs of infection disappear.
Insect Repellent: Add 15 drops to a quart of water and use as an effective insect repellent.
Mosquito Bites: Apply a drop of oil directly to bites.
Muscle Aches and Pains: Add 10-15 drops of oil to half cup bath salts, and dissolve in bath. Add 10 drops of oil to 2 tbsp of carrier oil. Massage well.
Pest Control: Household ants and other pests dislike Tea Tree Oil, so a few drops put at the point of entry will deter them. Wipe cupboards out with an oil and water solution to keep ants away.
Sciatica: Add 10 drops oil to 1 tbsp carrier oil and massage into affected areas. Repeat 2-3 times daily. Also can be applied undiluted.
Sore muscles: Fill your bathtub with warm water. Add a few drops of tea tree oil to the water to relax tight muscles.
Sore Throat: Add 2 drops of oil to 1 cup of warm water with pinch of sea salt, gargle 2-3 times a day. Do not swallow!
Staph Infection: Best used topically, rubbed into the soles of the feet to increase the immune response and fight infection.
Sunburn: Mix 1 TB coconut oil with 1 drop of tea tree and 1 drop of lavender and gently apply to to sunburned areas.
Tattoos: Apply after tattoos to avoid infection. Use undiluted, diluted with coconut oil or as a spray with purified water.
Ticks: Apply a drop or two directly to the tick and the surrounding area.

Note:

Tea tree oil is LIKELY SAFE for most people when put on the skin, but it can cause skin irritation and swelling. In people with acne, it can sometimes cause skin dryness, itching, stinging, burning, and redness.

Applying products to the skin that contain tea tree oil along with lavender oil might not be safe for young boys who have not yet reached puberty. These products might have hormone effects that could disrupt the normal hormones in a boy’s body. In some cases, this has resulted in boys developing abnormal breast growth called gynecomastia. The safety of these products when used by young girls is not known.

Tea tree oil is UNSAFE when taken by mouth. Don’t take tea tree oil by mouth. As a general rule never take undiluted essential oils by mouth due to the possibility of serious side effects. Taking tree tea oil by mouth has caused confusion, inability to walk, unsteadiness, rash, and coma.
Special Precautions and Warnings:
Pregnancy and breast-feeding: Tea tree oil seems to be safe when applied to the skin. But it should not be taken by mouth. Ingestion of tea tree oil can be toxic.

 Note:

all black outfit

I woke up this morning and there was no sun, no sun rays coming through the window shades, nothing, it felt cold and unwelcoming. I didnt want to leave my bed. All i wanted was to stay under my warm cosy duvet. I felt like i was abandoning my lover. I needed its warm embrace. I prepared myself for a cold day. when i open the window it was cold and windy. brrrrr
where was the sun? So i decided that before leaving the house i would add something sweet and funny to my outfit to cheer me up.
Therefore i chose to wear my oversized bow headband. My own creation.

This was one of those occasions to rock bright red lips :)

what i wore:
head band my own creation
Mango jacket
H&M bag
pull by Asos
leggings by Zara
boots bought on Zalando.fr
